About Us/Sales
Pixie Books is a partnership set up by two childrens writers, Gail
Seekamp and Pierce Feiritear, in 2002. Its aim is to publish quality
fiction and non-fiction for children at a keen price. We sell to
homes, schools and bookshops, both direct and through distributors. Pierce Feiritear is a primary school teacher in Dublin and
author of many books for children. Pierce has been previously
published by Oxford University Press, Collins Educational and Folens.
He is now working on another childrens novel (10 years+). Gail Seekamp is a former award-winning journalist and author
of Personal Finance and Personal Finance for Women.
Gail studied history at college and her first childrens book The
Irish Famine (originally published by HarperCollins) reflected this
background. She is the mother of two children (aged 5 and 11). They
are her best critics and inspire many story ideas! Contact Us
